Dan and Taryn brought Layla, their lab-mix puppy. Now, Carter had met Layla once before in Buffalo, but he was in a wretched mood that day and pretty much cried the entire time and probably didn't even notice the dog through the tears. So when he saw her at Grandma Nancy's, he absolutely lit up at the new face.
Layla jumped right up of course, and while I immediately stiffened thinking Carter would be scratched and upset, he laughed hysterically. Then, Layla licked his face, and he went even more hysterical. The pictures don't show it, but he LOVED Layla! (Also, out of necessity, any issues I had with a dog's tongue on my kid's face went right out the window.)
It's nice to know that the Grandchildren get along :)

So cute! Thats great that Carter did so well around the puppy and vise versa. Syler and Max are becoming better friends. It's cute because Max isn't as scared of Syler as he use to be. Maybe you will have to get a dog soon ;-)
